9 Classics For Winter Wear That Never Get Old

There are specific wardrobe must-have classics for winter that never get old. That means once you have them you can wear them this year and also 3 or even 5 years later too.  This is why we call them classics – useful, warm and always trendy. This is a smart wardrobe investment list. Memorize it, check it with your wardrobe, and enjoy the Christmas sales to get your needs!

1. Beige Overcoat

A beige overcoat is one of the most elegant options for winter. It’s functional and yet you can never go wrong with it. Beige goes very good with every colour and it’s also the colour of luxury.
Speaking of luxury - Burberry might own the colour beige but there are also more budget-friendly choices like Ben Sherman, Asos, GAP etc... Make sure it's beige and it fits you. :)

2. Black or Brown Leather jacket

Most probably every man owns one but I’m sure you wouldn’t complain if you have model and colour options in your wardrobe, right? In case of emergency for quality and cost balance you can check Esprit leather jackets for a short cut as you see one in the photo. Click here.

Summer Trends & Tips for Men (SS15)

Casual smart, sports luxe and streetwear influences dominating menswear industry trends for a while, bermudas and other sports-inspired shorts have become the best friends of men during summer.

If you’re into bermudas – which you must by the way - you’ll want shoes that offers the same degree of comfort and breathability.

Trainers have been in any time of our lives from office look to daily/weekend look thanks to luxury designer takes and technical runners to slip-on canvas plimsolls and even hi-tops, it goes without saying that the humble sneaker is an ideal match for jersey shorts which we may not agree with in some levels.  Sandals are our second favourite.

  •         Denim shorts + slipons or not chunky sneakers √
  •      Chino shorts + sandals + slipons √

Tips:
  • If you’re a shorter gentleman, go with nothing above ankle height or sandals, which will combine to produce the illusion of height and longer legs. When it comes to your shorts, go for a pair that finishes around mid-thigh or give the hems a couple of folds to emphasize leg length.
  • On the other hand if you have long legs go with footwear styles that have a slightly higher profile. Desert and chukka boots, along with slightly chunkier trainers, brogues and Derbies, would be ideal. Similarly, your shorts should finish on or just above the knee.
